TB-500: confirm the specification before buying

Start a TB-500 enquiry with the material your laboratory actually requires. The naming on a shop page should lead to a specific supplier record, not an assumption about what every similarly named listing contains.

01

Ask for an unambiguous identity.

Request the supplier’s exact peptide identity, sequence, declared chemical form and relevant modifications. If the requirement uses a related name such as thymosin beta-4, ask the supplier to explain the connection to the actual material offered. Do not resolve an ambiguous name by assuming two products are interchangeable.

02

Set the quantity requirement.

Specify the nominal pack size and number of units needed for the procurement requirement. Ask how the stated quantity is defined and what evidence supports it. Compare 2mg, 5mg and 10mg listings as different packs rather than treating their headline prices as equivalent.

03

Review the appropriate documents.

Match the specification and original analytical records to the offered lot. Check what each method measured and what it did not establish. Your laboratory decides which evidence is relevant to the study; a decorative testing badge does not make that decision.

04

Request one complete quote.

Keep material identity, pack size, quantity, documents, current availability and delivered cost together. Ask whether the same lot can cover the requested quantity and what happens if supply changes before dispatch.
